Philosophical Apologetics
with Jeremy Livermore

Our diverse and rapidly changing culture echoes the earth shattering blasts from the last two centuries of academic philosophy and globalization. How our world thinks now is an adjusted reflection of the previous generations’ thought experiments, immigration, and technological advances. Our current flattened world is fascinatingly complex and interactive.

We all have a worldview and encounter other worldviews on a daily basis. How are we to think about these worldviews and the philosophy that empowers them? We will examine Skepticism, Secular Humanism, Naturalism, Pragmatism, Existentialism, Postmodernism, Relativism, Pluralism, The Problem of Evil, and more.

While many skeptics criticize Christians for being simple-minded and gullible, Christians are actually advancing compelling arguments for the existence of God through sound reason. With cogent logic, the claims of “irrational belief” are dismantled and belief in God becomes highly rational.

But how is it possible to conclude that God exists just through reasoning? We will discover and learn to harness the Top 5 “Most Compelling Arguments for the Existence of God.”

The class is for both the Christian and non-Christian who hopes to deepen his understanding of why and how Christians believe the things they do.

Apologetics is the study of how and why the Christian faith is grounded in truth through reason and evidence which bring down the walls of unbelief, skepticism and uncertainty. Apologetics allows one to have direct access to Jesus by removing intellectual barriers, bringing down walls we have installed so we can see Jesus face to face.
