Today, we live in a society where, in every walk of life, we experience the interface, and sometimes collision, of numerous religious worldviews. Out of this encounter sometimes emerge the most popular objections against the truth-claims of the Christian faith. Islam, as one of the fastest growing religions in the West, poses such challenges against the exclusivity claims of the Christian faith.
In this time of crisis and uncertainty about what Islam represents, it is paramount that the Church must prepare itself in understanding these neighbors and also their way of life in order to engage with them effectively.
In this three-part ‘Introduction to Islam’ we will learn about the origin, development, practices, and various denominations of Islam. We will also learn how to practically engage with Muslims in sharing the gospel of our Master who is the exclusive way, the truth, and the life.
