The apostle John was one of twelve men who intimately witnessed the ministry of Jesus the Messiah. He recorded what he saw and heard in his gospel so that those who read it might believe and be saved. However, as time passed false teachers came into the body of Messiah, denying important truths of the faith such as the incarnation and the God given ability of all believers to know God’s truth. John responded by writing First John, a letter to believers that presents the truth about these and other important issues. Also discussed are the nature of a mature walk with God and the security of the believer.
The Bible also contains two other letters written by John in which he discusses important issues of faith and our walk with God. Join us as we journey through First, Second, and Third John, and share with us the blessings these letters have to offer us.
