So you’ve learned a rational defense of God’s existence and the resurrection. What’s next? It’s time to get out there and use it! But what about the controversy, the reactions, and the questions you can’t answer? This is the realm of strategic engagement. With some care you can navigate these interactions in a way that defends the truth in a diplomatic, yet powerful and effective way.
There are two realities to consider. We are engaged in a spiritual war against spiritual forces, where we have been given divine assistance to tear down barriers to knowing God (Eph. 6:12; 2 Cor. 10:3-5). Yet, our method of engaging other souls is as ambassadors for the truth, with gentleness and reverence (1 Pet. 3:15), innocently yet shrewdly (Matt. 10:16).
In this 8-week course we will learn, discuss and practice different methods to navigate discussions graciously while maintaining a sound defense of the faith.
