As we continue our efforts to properly be equipped to share the Messiah with our Jewish friends, we need to become familiar with the places in the Tenach that speak of the Messiah. A good understanding of Messianic prophecy is essential to an effective witness.
In an effort to identify the Jewish Messiah and Savior of the world from the Tenach, we will explore the Hebrew Scriptures in the Jewish order from Genesis to Chronicles. Our study will help us paint a clear picture of the only person in the history of mankind who ever fulfilled the office of Messiah of Israel and Savior of the world: Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus the Messiah).
Each messianic prophecy will be studied in its biblical context and will also include the common Jewish objections to it and how to overcome them.
Some of the passages studied are: Genesis 2:15, 22:18, 49:10, Isaiah 7:14, 9:6-7, 52:13-53:12, Micah 5:2, Zechariah 12:10, Psalm 22, Daniel 9 and others.
This class is part II of the class on Jewish Outreach and while it is not mandatory to have taken Part I, it is strongly recommended. Part I is available for free on the HaDavar website and HaDavar on YouTube.
